A message from the Chairperson
It has been a quiet start for the Latin American Cultural Association [LACA] this year, but this is not a reflection of how much enthusiasm and work we are planning to advance projects and activities that promote and enhance Western Australia Multicultural Society.
We share this wonderful State with people from more than 200 nationalities who speak as many as 270 languages and identify with more than 100 religious faiths.
As a well established Association, our priority now is to work towards providing support to new and emerging communities so they can grow and fully participate in our inclusive multicultural society, as we do.
Of course, fostering and promoting Latin American culture in Australia is also very much part of our objectives this year, and we will work hard to keep alive and share these rich and wonderful traditions.
This year, LACA Committee members are determined to continue the wonderful job that past members have done and we look forward to see your active support and attendance at LACA activities throughout the year.
